Teaching Coaching (the "App") considers users' personal information important.
This Privacy Policy explains the types of information collected by the App, the purposes of use, retention periods, and users' rights.
1. Personal Information Collected
Required Information
- Account information: Email address, password (stored encrypted), display name
- When using Google login: Google account email, Google ID
- When using Apple login: Apple user identifier (sub), email (including Apple Private Relay), name (once at first login, if provided by the user on the Apple consent screen)
- When using Kakao login: Kakao account email, Kakao ID
- When using Naver login: Naver account email, Naver ID
Information Collected for App Features
- Shot videos: Recorded golf swing videos (including the user's body) — stored on the service's operating server (within the Republic of Korea)
- Shot images: The server extracts keyframes from videos and sends them to the Google Cloud Gemini Vision API (for swing analysis)
- Swing analysis data: Scores for 8 items (address, backswing, top, downswing, impact, follow-through, tempo, balance), AI coach tips
- Round memories (optional): Round photos/videos attached directly by the user — stored on the service's operating server (within the Republic of Korea). Only files explicitly selected by the user from the gallery are uploaded
- Device information: Device model, OS version, app version (for error analysis)
- FCM token: For sending push notifications (including coaching feedback notifications)
Optional Information
- Profile information: Handicap, home course (entered directly by the user)
2. Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information

3. Device Permissions Used by the App
The App uses the following device permissions, and each permission is requested only when the relevant feature is used. Users may revoke permissions at any time in system settings. If a permission is denied, only the relevant feature will be limited, and other App features will not be affected.

The App does not automatically scan photos/videos in the background or access media that the user has not selected.
4. Retention and Use Periods for Personal Information
Retention Periods
- Account information: Until account deletion
- Shot videos/images: Destroyed immediately when deleted by the user or when the account is deleted
- Swing analysis data: Destroyed immediately when deleted by the user or when the account is deleted
- Round memories (photos/videos): Destroyed immediately when deleted by the user or when the account is deleted
- Device information/FCM token: Destroyed immediately when the account is deleted
- Subscription history: Article 6 of the Electronic Commerce Act (requirement to retain contract/subscription withdrawal records for 5 years)
Method of Destruction
- Electronic files: DB DELETE + permanent deletion of video/photo files from server storage (irrecoverable)
- Locally stored data: Automatically removed from the device when the App is deleted
Account Deletion
- May be requested using Settings > Delete Account button (at the bottom of the menu) in the App
- Upon account deletion, the server DB is deleted immediately + all video/photo files in server storage are deleted
- Recovery is not possible after account deletion is completed
5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The App provides personal information to third parties as follows in order to provide the service. If users do not consent, their use of the service may be restricted.

- A notice requesting consent to transmit Gemini Vision data is displayed when the user first enters shot recording.
- Videos themselves are stored on the service's operating server, and the server extracts and transmits only keyframe images to Google Cloud. Shot videos themselves are not transmitted outside the service server.
- When using social login (Google/Apple/Kakao/Naver), the App receives user identification information from each provider and does not additionally provide user information to those providers.
6. Personal Information Destruction Procedures and Methods
- Upon account deletion: Entire DB deleted (users, shots, practice_sessions, swing_analysis tables)
- Files stored on the server: Entire user folder in server storage deleted (uploads/users/{userId}/)
- After destruction is completed: Recovery is not possible (no backups retained)
- Deleting an individual shot: May be destroyed immediately using Home > Video List > Shot Details > Delete button
- Deleting an individual round memory: May be destroyed immediately using Round Details > Memory Item > Delete button
7. User Rights and How to Exercise Them
Users may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Request to access personal information: Settings > Edit Profile in the App (email and name can be viewed)
- Request to correct personal information: Settings > Edit Profile in the App (name, handicap, and home course can be changed)
- Request to delete personal information: Settings > Delete Account in the App (all information deleted immediately)
- Delete an individual shot: Home > Video List > Shot Details > Delete button
- Request to suspend processing: Contact by email (donkee3@gmail.com)

9. Cookies and Automatic Collection Mechanisms
The App does not use cookies because it is not a web-based service. However, the following data may be collected automatically:
- Device information: Device model, OS version, app version (for error analysis)
- FCM token: Automatically generated to send push notifications
Users may disable notifications in the App settings, in which case push notifications will not be sent.
10. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information
- Encryption in transit: All server communications are encrypted using HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher)
- Encryption at rest: Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, and server storage is protected by OS-level access controls
- Access control: JWT token-based authentication (access 1h / refresh 7d), role-based access control (user / pro / admin)
- Local storage: Stored in SharedPreferences and the App's dedicated directory (inaccessible to other apps)
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be revised in response to changes in relevant laws and the service. If changes are made, advance notice will be provided through an in-App notice or email at least 7 days beforehand.
